With a career spanning nearly 18 years, Jaime Butcher brings a seasoned perspective to every project. Her journey began with a five-year apprenticeship at an established design firm, where she honed the technical knowledge and project management skills that would eventually become the foundation of Butcher & Company.

A native of Southwest Florida and an alumna of Carson-Newman University in Tennessee, Jaime’s work is driven by a deep-seated belief that a home should be a place of beauty, order, and provide us with a profound sense of belonging. She is recognized for her unique ability to filter complex needs into a singular, cohesive vision—guiding homeowners and entrepreneurs alike past the overwhelm of a creative new beginning toward a result that feels organized and entirely their own.

Beyond the studio, Jaime’s life is defined by a narrative of resilience and connection. In 2019, following the sudden passing of their precious oldest son, Elijah, Jaime and her husband, Matt, launched The Gathering House—a unique non-profit in Florida born from a "deep valley" life season. This chapter of their story remains a testament to their faith and their unwavering vision for finding beauty and hope through deep community connection.

After more than a decade of growing businesses and family in Florida- Jaime and Matt relocated to Upstate South Carolina in late 2024 to begin a new chapter inspired by the region’s beauty, culture and opportunity for their family. Their vibrant household includes their twin boys, Luke and Silas, a beloved Springer Spaniel named Scout, Stella the cat, and Holland Lop bunnies! Whether she is at home, at work, or in the community — Jaime’s heart is rooted in the belief that the most beautiful things in life are the ones we build together.
